The Speckling Stitch is similar to Seeding or the Rice Stitch, except that instead of using a single straight stitch each time, two parallel straight stitches are placed close. Sometimes, these parallel stitches share the same points to make a single but bolder stitch. Add one more stitch to it, and it just becomes the Granitos! There are so many variants of Seeding that, many times the names slightly overlap each other. If you know this stitch by another name or another stitch with the same name, don’t worry- they are all variants with slight changes.
