If you want to fill a more prominent space without having the threads come off all loose, the Rumanian Couching must be an excellent way to do it. This stitch requires the pattern to be divided into different sections. The laid threads would be couched with long diagonal stitches. We use the same thread continuously to lay and couch simultaneously, unlike in Surface Couching. These diagonal Couching Stitches form an overlay pattern.
