Embroidery Pattern: Heart.
You will learn 3 Stitches At a Time –Double Cross Stitch, Twisted Chain Stitch, Convent Stitch.
It’s the season of love! What better pattern to stitch up than a cute heart. Apply this pattern on your clothing, linens or make it a gift for someone you care for. Fill in teh heart with the Convent Stitch. Then, outline it with the Twisted Chain Stitch. Sprinkle with tiny Double Cross Stitches in 6 strands to make it look like little embossed dots. Have fun! Don’t forget to upload your finished work here.
The 3SAT Embroidery Project uses patterns and designs that will help you to learn the embroidery stitches quickly and easily. While most of us can learn the stitches, it is difficult to get a pattern where we can apply those stitches while learning. Also, not all of us are comfortable creating patterns to stitch. The 3SAT Project patterns are so easy that you can draw them just by looking at them. Or, just print them out and transfer them to your fabric. Each pattern uses only three stitches, making it super fun and easy to do! You can also use your own imagination and stitches to work over these patterns!

If there a photo of this project? I’d love to see how this looks when it’s stitched. Thanks
Hi Melissa,
I will try to get a photo of the stitched pattern as soon as possible.
Thank you for sharing these beautiful and unique stitches. Just wondering if there is there a companion book for left-handers. It’s so hard to turn instructions upside down and try to read A.B.C in a different direction.
Hi Mindy.
Of course! We do have an eBook for left handers’. Check: https://www.embroidery.rocksea.org/product/hand-embroidery-left-handers/
Warm regards,
Sarah
Thank you for the link. This looks like just what I would enjoy however; being a “Boomer” I struggle with ebook, need a hardcover for reference and pulling a book off my shelf not out of my laptop.
Thank you Sarah’s. I think all the 3 stich are all advance stage. Not easy to sew. It nice. Wait after my Chinese New year I will try it. I love it. God bless you always. Amen
I wish you a beautiful New Year!! Please do give it a try. The twisted Chain Stitch might be slightly challenging. Otherwise, the other two stitches are pretty easy. 😊
